Rated 5 out of 5 by from I saved so much money I had a terrible experience with HR Block were they told me they had until the 18th to file my taxes even though I was the one paying for service. I decided to use Turbo Tax and not only saved money but got more on my return.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Last Minute Filer No matter how I try to complete my taxes in January...the earliest I am able to complete it is the weekend before taxes are due, therefore I am always greatful to be able to complete it online with Turbotax.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You've got a lot to answer for This is one of the worst experiences with Turbo Tax I've had. First I was forced to pay an exhorbatent amount to "talk" with someone. I think I talked to 5 people. One helped me fill out the detail pages for ESPP sale - turns out in there is some sort of bug so after two days of entry (I had 87 lots of sales to account for), the software wasn't capturing it!!!!! Then there is the "review" by CPA's, but the first one I spoke with didn't have a clue and just clicked his way through. There should be some way to reach someone who has the expertise needed to answer a question. The ONLY person who helped was Celine but unfortunately, she didn't have the access to see what the software was doing in not picking up the data. But she is an excellent CSR. I will be requesting a refund from Inuit for the money I had to spend to get NO RESOLUTION. I wouldn't mind paying if results were given.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TurboTax is Slipping I'm paying for Premier now, and 2020's issue didn't get the maximum charitable deduction right, causing the IRS to hold up my refund almost a year. So it also didn't transfer the excess to 2021's Schedule A. 2020's version also didn't remind me to move the basis for my deceased wife's Roth IRA to the mine, which I combined it with. So 2021's gave me an error message. Bottom line: more steps aren't being cared for by the programming, so the user has to be increasingly tax savvy to get the program to work right. It is NOT as easy as they make it out to be. And getting assistance? Good luck getting through the automated attendant!
