Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Frusterated I am extremely upset with Turbo Tax and their constant attempts to up-sell me. Throughout the entire process of doing my taxes they kept offering to upgrade me to a higher level which would charge me or giving me the option to stay on the level I was at. I had to continuously select that I didn't want to spend money on this. In the final step it told me I needed to pay $119 to get my taxes filed! I had no idea that it was going to charge me because I declined all of their offers and at that point it was too late to use a different program.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax is a great product; however ... TurboTax is a great product which I have used for 20+ years; however, it is still not as intuitive as it can and should be. The program failed to ask me what I wanted to do with my Federal Tax Overpayment. For my State Tax Overpayment it asked if I wanted to apply my overpayment to my State Estimated Tax Payment that was due upon filing. It then took into account the amount that was being applied to the State Estimated Tax Due for April and zeroed out the amount due with the April voucher and also reduced the amount due for the June 15th voucher by the surplus amount over the amount due in April. For the Federal Return, I had to go to the Forms directly and override the Standard option of simply send me the overpayment in the form of a refund payment to me. This manual override worked for the 2022 return; however, it fail to adjust the Federal Estimated Tax Vouchers for April, June, September 2023 and January 2024.The same thing happened last year also. There are plenty of other glitches also but enough said for now.
