Rated 2 out of 5 by from 2022 Business is buggy for Form 1041 Trust Return Difficult to navigate Gain/Loss on Sale of Real Estate. Had to pull up Form 4797 because the step-by-step didn't prompt this. Additionally, the $300 complex trust exemption didn't populate on Line 21 Form 1041 and I had to override.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 1120 Return and State Return I have been a long time Turbotax user for my, as well as friends and family, 1040 returns. I decided for the first time to try Turbotax for business for a couple business ventures that needed filing. I was disappointed in the process for two primary reasons: 1) after spending "more than the benefits received in cost" for the software itself, after spending the entire time to prepare, including a call or two to the Turbotax help desk, that could not answer my 1 question, I was unable to efile due to the business activity code error message (odd how the accounting business code was not an acceptable code to efile). Then, Turbotax wanted an additional $55 to file state, which for Texas can be filed for free in 10 minutes online. So, I ended up having to print and mail my 1120 and efile my Texas Franchise return, which is exactly what I did in the past, without the cost. I will go back to the old, manual way in the future due to the lack of any read advantage vs the cost of using Turbotax.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Taxes made easy in 2022 I know enough about taxes to be dangerous. Turbotax takes so much fear out of my tax preparation. I find the links to detailed information very helpful and easy to understand. When I submit my taxes for filing, I know that everything is done right and that all my questions have been professionally answered. I use Turbotax every year, and will continue to do so.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Alot of rework Very frustrated with the software. I had to manually update many of the forms to get the correct information. Was very disappointed that you could not upload data from quickbooks online. Everything had to be manually entered. Data was also doubled on state returns and had to be manually adjusted.
