Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super easy to use I've been using Turbo Tax for years now. I have always found it to be intuitive and very easy to use. I especially like that it walks you through each step and updates you on any changes in the tax law to ensure you either owe the least amount of taxes at the end of the year or get the largest refund. The service is worth every penny paid for it and then some.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is Awesome! Super easy to do! I don't have deductions so it was simple. They already got my W*2 info and I just had to click and it was done!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay I've been using TurboTax since the 1990s. It used to be essentially free because they gave rebates and you got one free state return. I stopped using the desktop version when they stopped supporting Windows XP (the last version of Windows I actually owned) and they never ported the software to Linux, which I've also been using since the early 90s. The online version is okay, but I dislike all the prompts for money grabs and I also dislike that you cannot see your forms until you purchase -- understandable in a way, but still very annoying. I think the workflows and navigation are getting worse, many pages don't have a "cancel this" button to take you back the 6 screens where you make your error. I do understand that the cost of the software pays mostly for the "tax experts" who interpret the laws and write the logic and the workflow/UI people are not as well staffed. It is what it is. Can't wait for the government to disband the IRS completely and just take a flat percent on everything we buy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You E-File Screens need a lot of help with BoA I am very disappointed in the way your software handles e-file when using Bank Of America. It would not proceed past the Federal screen when I pressed continue. There was no reason given. Then I noticed that the bank account info and routing number had a red lettered text saying to check my routing number with my bank, which I did, and confirmed that it was correct. It still would not go through and gave me no error message other than noted above, and no real indication what the problem was other than the red text. After hours of searching online and trying to find an answer it dawns on me the Bank Of America actually gave two separate routing numbers for my account. I tried the alternate routing number and it worked. Obviously your software KNOWS what number is correct and the only indicator to use the alternate number is some red text to check the routing number, which I did and confirmed that it was correct. You can't give better input/feedback to guide the user as to what needs to be done? Perhaps something along the lines of "The routing number you provided for Bank of America is incorrect. Please check with your bank to see if there is an alternate routing number available" Since I followed your on screen instruction to the letter and couldn't resolve the issue obviously they are inadequate. Fortunately I resolved the problem before it was too late to file on time but you have to get better at this. You have been doing this for 30 odd years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax support is poor. Receive 2021 tax returns for IRS and AZ state rejected, and it appears it is in the E-File process. During the process of completing the requirements for E-filing; I found 2 different 2020 AGI numbers. I attempted to follow the Turbo Tax directions of going to your online account and find my 2020 returns and the AGI. Turbo Tax directions were terrible, did not assist in my finding my 2020 returns on you website, nor a correct AGI.
