In 2007 we sold one house and purchased another one. We used a company to do our Income Tax. The questions they asked were just what Turbo Tax would ask and they charged us $350.00. I will never use any systems other than Turbo Tax

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Oldie But Goody User I have used TurboTax since 2003 to do our personal and int business in the past because it's easy, very easy. Even the beginner can be guided through the process of filing your taxes. I like the way it takes the user through each component of your taxes, first assets, and income, then expenses and deductions. They have comments and places to get further explanations of items. If you're not an accountant, who remembers all the terminology? Another feature is it updates the program to the latest tax laws.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rental Income/Invest Input & Review Lacking It is difficult to locate the proper forms to enter 1065 K-1 information. And I was never able to locate where to enter prior year loss carry-forward information. I also could not find instructions for entering this information. Considering the large up-charge for investor income (stock trading and rental income both), Turbo Tax is sadly lacking in user friendly input and has no useful help instructions on these topics.
