Blank Pages
I've been using Turbo Tax for about 10 years now, and it has always been very easy to use. For some reason, this year was a bit different. There were several times where I would click on DONE with a section and the screen would go to a blank page. And there was no BACK button. I had to go to the top buttons and return to the beginning of the section I had completed. Consequently, it took me longer to be in the least enjoyable task of the year - TAXES. Not sure why blank pages happened, but it was not good. I will probably still use Turbo Tax again next year, but if it happens again...

I've paid for two services for two years now
I've paid for the desktop version for two years now through the annual auto-renewal plan, but it has consistently proved inferior to your online service both years. It's frustrating because I've been told I'll be refunded for the difference of payment of the two services less the one that I used. I only upgraded to this version for additional tax documentation access, due to your "tax pros" telling me it was the only way to access said forms. I will be looking for a tax preparer in the future years and I will be canceling my auto service from here forward. It's frustrating, takes hours of time to on hold while calling your "24/7" agents, and felt like it was just a giant waste of time that delayed my filing as a result.

Does a pretty good job
Overall does a pretty good job, although occasionally there are some misleading questions that result in incorrect entries. Fortunately I do have an accounting background which allows me to detect issues with the end result and so I know when to go back and look for errors to fix. That said figuring out what to fix and where is not straight forward - I spent more than an hour with a rep combing through various options until we got to the desired fix. Fortunately the rep was pretty friendly and kept my frustration down!

Major problems
After 20 years using Turbo Tax with FEW problems, I had major problems this year. I bought TurboTax CD from Costco this year ($49.99) but I still had to pay $25 to file CA state return. Also, I had to re-start the program six or seven times at various places--twice from the beginning, other restarts at different points of recovery. I think it's ok now, but am awaiting e-file results.

Overall OK. Had to upgrade twice for a fairly simple form
