Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nightmarish Infinite Loop Problems Ironically, the old CD-based app was a tour de force of terrific programming. Loved it. By definition, any web-based app has to be more linear in action and this can lead to frustrating loops. I have a state pension that is exempted from state tax. TT wouldn't let me e-file the return and I could not get out of the loop in order to file-by-mail. There were several other unclear points in the app.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST IN CLASS!!! There are other tax software programs available that cost less, but Turbo Tax is the absolute BEST tax program available. I've used TT for over 20 years and I've never had an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick, easy, and low on the nerves Taxes always make me super anxious because like most adults, I like to pretend that I keep track of every little receipt and everything I can on it but I don't do as good as I should, but the software was good at reminding me about deductions and other things I could consider and by the end I thankfully got money back like I usually do with the exception of the year after covid. But being that that was last year and I ended up owing a lot of money I was very nervous about doing it this time around but though I had only planned to just start and then get back to it at some point it was so quick and easy I decided to just finish it now and was happy to find that it wasn't a sad occasion like last time and now it's out of the way so I can call myself an adult and not think about it for another year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Useful, but Very Expensive The product is like no other. The speed and accuracy, the confirmation and double checking, the ability to easily understand or receive notifications if something was done in error; the site is very useful. However, you will likely be paying a lot of money for the ease of use. To file, I had to pay nearly 200 dollars, and I find that pretty awful and unnecessarily expensive. However, for those of us who don't have the time, patience, or connections, TurboTax is reliable and easy to use.
