Rated 3 out of 5 by from Federal is easy, State is not so easy Preparing the Federal Tax return is simple. The State tax return is a bit painful. Asks me for information that is already in my Federal return. Confusing. Always seem to have items I need fixed on my State. Items I have to research because there is no real explanation of why they were missed or are needed. Turbo Tax "supposedly" walks me through everything, but each year I have random State issues to fix. The overall cost to file is getting too expensive. It used to be a bargain, not so much anymore. For a simple Fed and State return you are at $118. A local tax preparer will do the same return for $80. Also, tired of the continual ask to upgrade. May be my last year using TurboTax.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Makes It So Easy The process of doing my taxes seems easier and easier every year. The software guides you through the process seamlessly. The steps are very easy to follow and the pop up explanations clear up any confusion. After 12 years I've never had any trouble filing with Turbo Tax!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's fine Really get tired of having to enter my bank info 4 times manually. I also get tired of having to pay you an extra $25 at the last minute to file my state return. Either add it into the price, or get rid of the abusive $40 fee to take it out of my refund.
