Rated 3 out of 5 by from Watch out for post filing updates Opened my tax file several weeks after filing it.Turbotax loaded the latest and greatest update into my file and blew out critical information on my state return regarding pension and annuity income. It resulted in suddenly owing the state an extra $5,000. Fortunately, I recognized what the error was and made the corrections, but this was just sloppy and dumb on Turbotax's part.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It makes it easy,but too pushy for products It makes the process simple and it has good interactive features. The money grabbing continue pushing to buy products|features it is too much. To the point of being annoying. I will be looking into alternatives. The cost of the product has been continuously increased. The additions and improvements don't justify the extra cost. However, once you start you are most likely to stay on the product seems you don't want to waste the time invested. Third party product pushing even until the last minute, extra consulting etc., makes the look cheap, like desperate for income.. It is a shame it could be a great product without all these low practice strategies
