I believe there should be some help in identifying which line to place things that are taxable income and tax exempt as in an agreement between the US and UK for example.

I feel much more in control, and help is readily available when needed. Strongly advise that you have all your documents together before you begin. If you're reasonably well prepared the process is pretty straightforward. For questions simply dealing with the web interface, the first line of tech support is fine. For any deeper questions or advice, the Tax Advisers are the way to go. Everyone I've dealt with at any level has been pleasant, professional, and efficient

If you have a simple tax return, you can file for free yourself with TurboTax Free Edition, or you can file with TurboTax Live Assisted Basic or TurboTax Live Full Service Basic at the listed price.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
