Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is easy and very helpful This year I paid for the immediate assistance and personal review of my returns. I spent almost 1 hour working through an issue I was having with a complicated return this year and the person on the other end of the line (Leah) was extremely helpful, patient, and kind. She made me feel at ease that everything was correct prior to submitting my returns.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 20+ year user I've been using TurboTax for over 20 years to submit my annual taxes. The program is fairly intuitive and I like how the numbers are updated in both my federal and state return as necessary. It helps me find ways to minimize the tax impact. I do think that the updates to this year's forms was a bit more complicated and not as user friendly. I liked how the user could flip between the program and forms better in previous versions.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Customer Service Tanks for complex issues When you have a problem and call, I got to a person within 5 minutes, after fighting the phone computer system. However I had a very specific problem that I needed help with and the very kind help desk had no knowledge of my problem. It would take an hour for them to type questions to someone else and the answer would always end up, "I don't really know, maybe try again tomorrow and see if it's fixed". This happened 3 times. I would ask to be transferred to someone higher and they were unable to do that. The problem was eventually fixed, but I had to go to the community chat page. There, I found out I wasn't the only one with the problem and found a way to solve it. TT's strong Customer Service had been the reason to stayed with this service for over 10 years. Now I have no reason to stay.
