Rated 2 out of 5 by from Normal events cause web and filing problems Turbo-Tax refuses to e-file state (no reason given, surely there is one!). Password for Intuit was forgotten (new machine). To fix this problem, Intuit demands lots of information which is insufficient because my old smart phone was destroyed. Intuit cannot find my login because of insufficient information. Calling Intuit involves giving my phone number MANY times (bad connection and poorly programmed automatic answering system). I finally gave up because I was disconnected by Intuit. Had to file state by mail. Turbo-Tax makes this hard by requiring one to go back and repeat things that one has done before (instead of asking at the beginning about the possibility of e-filing the fed and mailing the state). And then there is the problem of having to reinstall old versions of TurboTax because I am working on a new machine (finding where files are put by the new operating system is (courtesy of Microsoft) difficult and there are no instructions given regarding Intuits selection of defaults. A task that used to be easy has now become a difficult and almost impossible chore.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Annoying way to submit 1256 form and stuck on loop I usually file my taxes with turbotax cause for the most part has been straightforward. However, this year I had to file form 1256 which was nowhere to be found. Had to read a bunch of pages until I found a link to the form I needed. Also for other info I was filing, it got stuck on some sort of loop and was asking me the same questions over and over and over adding incorrect data to my return. Luckily I was able to figure out where this data was being added and deleted it. Disappointing service.
