Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely frustrated with Turbo Tax this year I have been using Turbo Tax for years. This year my return was rejected 8 times. I made all necessary changes and kept resubmitting. For the last transmission I changed payment methods. Even though my return was rejected the amount I owe $3,151 was deducted from my credit card with a $78 charge and I still have to file by mail. How can my return be rejected and still have funds deducted? I will be changing software for 2023.

TurboTax is an easy-to-use site-guided or self-guided tax program that covers almost all tax situations that the average filer requires. TurboTax Premium includes Investments and Rental Property features. The program updates itself automatically as one uses it, so the program is always up-to-date. The error checking mechanism is outstanding and refers one to the exact page and line item that needs attention. It also has an audit alert feature that indicates whether your return is at low, medium, or high risk for audit. I highly recommend TurboTax for those who are able to gather necessary tax documents and are comfortable entering your data on-line. I have never had an issue with TurboTax. It is reliable and ensures a safe and quick filing process.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very glitchy site, not enough transparency I would like to see the 1040 form as I fill in my information or at least have it available to see. Also when I was finalizing my tax returns I couldn't proceed past the "review info" section, it kept telling me my email was missing and to follow the link to correct that. The link did not take me to a page where I could enter that info so I was stuck unable to proceed. Also I was supposed to receive a call for help within 25 minutes an no one called to help. I would rather do my own taxes next time or go with another company, this glitch added hours to my experience and then it ,for no reason at all ,decided to begin working. There should be a simple chat function for issues like this. I also couldn't get my question to post in the community help section. This really left me hanging and frustrated. This is by far the worst experience I've had with Turbo tax. I should have paid a little more and gone with a tax accountant in person. Turbo Tax is horrible.
