I believe I invertedly checked a box to use $500 in state payment for my payment and could not find the location again. Suddenly, my state refund was $500 less and I was still charged the federal tax amount. No one could help me unless I wanted to pay another amount to receive assistance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax tricked me I used the free version of TurboTax and it still charged me $175 because I had too many forms to upload since I freelance. I had no idea this was the case until I finished and it took me to the pay screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from turbo tax makes it simple to file correctly the process was straight forward and comprehensive as well as easy to navigate. only thing I noticed at times is that there wasn't always a convenient way to go back to a previous section .......... had to hunt for a way back at times.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Frustrating This year's tax preparation has been the most frustrating. The software was not user friendly and was clunky. When clicking on the form that I had to enter it would take me to a different screen. Some options were not explained clearly and some did not pertain to me. e.g. there is a difference in the limit between Roth IRA and Roth 401K but there was no option for that so it kept trying to charge me a hefty penalty. The whole program was poorly written. I have been using Turbo Tax for eleven years and this year was the worst nightmare.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2022 Taxes The process was intuitive. I received support by phone twice during the process, once from a system support guy and once from a tax specialist. Both were very helpful, patient and pleasant. I've used TurboTax before, but this year my taxes were a little more complicated and I was a bit anxious in doing them on my own. The TurboTax team helped me put those concerns aside...nice job!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo tax was great I did not use the interactive consultants cause the program was good enough by itself. Although, I was told the price was 69 dollars but I got charged 69 dollars plus the 119. I was not sure why I was charged for 208 dollars. There was no place for me to select the exact price I wanted to pay for the preparation.
