Spent 45 minutes with customer support to try and resolve account issues but had no success in Trying to recover my account. the only resolution was to create a new account using my wife's email which makes no sense since all my information in my return is tied to my email. There should be a simple way to recover accounts but the customer agent could not find a way

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax dropped the ball this year There were at least two major problems that affected me. I sold a flip home and entering the information took a lot of second guessing. It was treated like a financial product. There was also a glitch with entering college tuition. TT 2023 skips that screen but then you can go back and edit it on the review screen. There were some minor things that were different like entering property tax. It freaked me out a little bit because in previous years I needed to enter it, but somehow tax code has changed?... A little heads-up would have eased my anxiety on that one. The opening screen also said I've been using TT for 8 years. More like 15, lol.

If you could just add more information about people renting a room at a house. That way we could understand much better what are the requirements without research via the internet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from so many fees for automated services When there are so many options available, it's really disheartening when you have to pay extra fees for services that are automated anyway. I get charging more for a human to review the information, that makes sense because there's someone who needs to be paid but charging extra for options that are automatic is scummy. It doesn't cost turbotax anything extra is my point so it's just sad when there's already so many other services out there they still hit you with all these bloated costs. I will be using another service for 2023 return
