I love the step by step features and if you have any questions you can always use the chat feature to be able to chat with someone for further assistance. There is also helpful information along the way as the guide you through the process. With Turbo Tax I feel confident that I'm getting my taxes done correctly.

However, I have noticed an dramatic increase in the price over the years as well as the constant pop ups wanting us to purchase a higher level package. The constant aggravating requests to spend more money on top of the ever increasing price is making us look around for other options next year though we have been using Turbotax for over a decade.

I asked the question to Turbo Tax and got no response. I resubmitted and got rejected again. I want to try to resubmit with and AGI of $0 but Turbo Tax won't let me change my AGI to refile. I am beyond frustrated!

If you have a simple tax return, you can file for free yourself with TurboTax Free Edition, or you can file with TurboTax Live Assisted Basic or TurboTax Live Full Service Basic at the listed price.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
