Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed this year I was greatly disappointed with TurboTax this year. I had a coupon code to save $20 on my taxes. There was no place to enter the code, so I ended up paying full price. What is the use of advertising a code if you can't use it? Also, in the help box it says you can get "free" state returns if you opt to mail them instead of email. This is wrong because I didn't get the option to mail my state until AFTER I had to pay $59 for the state return. I expect to have to pay for the service of your software, say about half price, but not to pay extra to email it if I choose not to. You need to change this to "State filing is not subject charge only if you use simple form. All other formats are subject to state filing charge." I ended up paying over $150 extra this year because I couldn't use a code and basically being forced to email my state return. Shame on you Turb Tax!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tricky TurboTax TurboTax portal is tricky trying to get you to automatically select the paid version instead of the free edition. If I wasn't used to TurboTax I would have accidentally selected the paid version. Seem that's exactly what TurboTax wants users to select.
