Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it I could have gotten an actual person to help me with my taxes for the amount Turbotax charged me. Instead, I did all the work myself, did not have anyone to answer questions, and I still had to pay for the "privilege".

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dishonest Pricing This is my 8th year using TurboTax, overall a great service. However, this year they told me I should do an itemized deduction, thus getting me a greater refund. They presented this as a $59 fee for the deluxe edition. I thought this was reasonable for the amount I was saving. Then, after everything is done and it comes time to pay, it is apparently $59 for federal AND $59 for state. Totaling $118 (and of course they add tax on top of that as well). However when I went to look at my returns, the state deduction was standard and not itemized. So what did I get for that second payment of $59?? Ripped off. Never again TurboTax.
