Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didnt even give option for less expensive product I was referred to turbotax by a friend but when I launched turbotax through the referral email I didnt have a chance to choose a less expensive product so I paid for the most expensive price when my taxes were very basic. Surely I thought turbotax would have at some point in the process noticed my taxes were basic and switched to a less expensive or at least have given me the option to start off with their basic product first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have Used Intuit/Turbo Tax Since 1998 Accept that this yearly chore is gonna take a bit of time. Just follow the steps/questionnaire patiently and you should not go wrong. If a newbie, it's not difficult; just don't try to rush. There is a search feature if something pertinent to your return is not clear to you how you need to report/address it. You might say the program ultimately reduces the stress associated with filing taxes correctly short of PAYing a tax service to do the work for you. (I use the Premier edition.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is Easy to use It has been 2 years since using Turbo Tax and found that it is even easier than before. Turbo Tax walks thru every step with accurate explanations for each step. Plus having the Live Expert feature, which I utilized, made the process feel more comforting that I was entering my taxes correctly. The Live Expert even called at 9:35pm which I did not expect to happen. Excellent experience using Turbo Tax again and will continue each year moving forward.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to work with until you have to change a form. I filed a self-employed form last year but no longer have the business, and I couldn't change to a regular tax return, so I have to pay more this year for filing my taxes.
