Exited Program Started Program later to e-file Software auto-updated itself Software required re-activation, but would not accept license key (Error Code 630) Three calls to TurboTax support did not resolve, tried per their advice: -Rebooting -Repairing TurboTax -Uninstalling/Reinstalling TurboTax nothing worked Intuit community forums had tons and tons of 2020 users with identical issue found a solution there, involved deleting TurboTax files left over after uninstall, and reinstalling software again. Quite disappointing that TurboTax support staff did not offer this solution

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
