It appears that there are varying flavors of Turbo Tax depending upon where you buy it? Keep it simple. Either give out a state download or don't but state that directly in the product definition.

We have a rental property and have been using the straight line depreciation method for the past 15 years. However, this is not the default depreciation method built into the system. Furthermore, there is no way to change the depreciation method to another option. this cost us a good bit of time to come up with a calculation that matched the depreciation amount we had used in prior years.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
