Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo tax is very convenient After 60 years of using personal CPAs and in person tax preparation, the convenience and accuracy of using Turbo Tax is a relief. Having the ability to work and dig through records from home where every scrape of information is immediately research-able versus schlepping paper into someone's office is invaluable. Plus, the cost is very reasonable. Second year using TT and satisfied each time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Once you get a good Rep... Not a lot of confidence in the process. First off, I kept receiving emails telling me to start the process when the process was already 3 steps in. Then, he first rep I was assigned was consistently non-communicative. Maybe he had too much work, if that's the case, Turbo Tax needs to work on their workflow. If my account would have stayed with him, I would have pulled it and gone somewhere else. Once I was reassigned to a new rep, the process was efficient and he was helpful.

However, it would be MUCH better were the overall income tax system were much simpler, e.g. change it so that everyone pays the same percentage of his/her/its income - That goes for all income earners including businesses!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Live and Vivian are awesome!! With initial phone call the employee (NOT Vivian) walked us through the estimator and we were told we were getting a refund. When we worked with Vivian, we learned that we actually owed over $1400.

I have been using Turbotax for past 3 years and I think its been helping me to get a bigger refund then if I go to an account and pay more for their service. Turbotax has its own CPA's and they are always very helpful, and answer all of my tax questions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from There is security in using TurboTax TurboTax keeps up with the latest changes in the tax rules and provides explanations to my specific questions. I have trouble getting it to let me start with a Schedule F -- it keeps starting me in the questions for a Schedule C. The support help is excellent.
