Rated 1 out of 5 by from I'm frustrated with TurboTax TurboTax is starting to become more and more difficult to use. It's has been slowly diverting from its one and done simple programming from years past. Now TurboTax brings up forms that have nothing to do with your filing. It also now gives you misleading information. My wife and I for the first time were filing jointly. At the end of the filing my wife couldn't find her Federal Pin number. TurboTax software told me, "Just make up a pin number and the Federal government will except it!" I call TurboTax 800# because this didn't sound right to me. The representative gave me the same recommendation as software. Since my wife misplaced her Federal ID Pin# we made up a random new pin as TurboTax and the TurboTax phone representative recommended. Guess what? I think you already guessed it. The Federal government Rejected it! Go Figure!

Less than 24 hours after filing, I was notified that my federal (and subsequent state taxes) were rejected because I was missing information from a 1095-A marketplace insurance form. To pay for a tax service, I would expect this missing information to be caught PRIOR to filing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Process was great, chat with Nathan, Horrifying!!! I made mistake of not reviewing all numbers before filing and both state and fed was rejected. I was then asked to pay my federal and state again as I was given option to pay then, I did that, it was immediately taken out, and after fixing the issue, I was asked to pay again. As that was happening, I decided to get some expert help from Nathan. Right off the bat he was sending me a discount code to pay for filing fee. He did not even take the time to see what the other chats indicated, and then mocked me for typos. It was the worse experience I have ever had with Turbotax and I am disgusted with the way he disregarded my issue and made it about him. I hope NO ONE has to deal with Nathan as his "Expertise" in taxes is a disappointment.
