Rated 1 out of 5 by from still too many problems Twice TT refused to e-file "because you've already filed 5 returns" which was not true. Once I purchased and downloaded a state S-corp module. When I came back to do another return for the same state, I was told that I needed to re-purchase the S corp module "because the one you purchased before was the state partnership module--again not true.

The validation failed when answering questions prompted by the step-by-step guide. TurboTax failed to fix the error even by the extended filing deadline.

It didn't have many interview quesitons to guide me through and I struggled so much to figure out myself fliping through different forms and adjusting the data diretly on the form. It was a painful process due to the lack of guidance they placed for 2021 return.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax was good, but not always worked Turbo Tax was a big help, but when I needed the screen that allowed me to enter my rental properties, it did not come up. I had to look back at my other returns to figure out which tax form I needed to use to enter that information.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Same Product as 2003 I've been using TurboTax for 20 years. It's basically the same product. And it works just about as well as a 20-year-old product does. It's annoyingly slow and I'm looking for a better alternative.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love it, BUT you have kept an error SINCE MARCH I have used TurboTax since the earliest years. This year when I tried to submit my CA 100S form back in March, it would not file my state return electronically. It kept telling me the (correct) DCN--the one that was used to SUCCESSFULLY file my US return, was "too long," so my return was ineligible for e-filing. No matter what I did, I could not get past it. I was so confident you would fix the problem, I did not mail in my return. I have checked and checked, trying again. Tonight is the last night I can check. It STILL does not work! Now I will pay a fine for filing late. Thanks loads.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love and hate... Because of the ease of transferring previous data and easy current year entry, it literally took me 30 minutes to complete the return. It then took another excruciating 5 hours to try and balance something TurboTax told me was out of balance. I could not find anything out of balance and tried to Google answers and went through every form. I couldn't get anyone on the phone at TurboTax and I finally gave up. I could not efile because of it. I had to print and mail with that cost which was frustrating.
