Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax does the job well Easy Step is thorough in leading you through all the lines and boxes on the forms that you have received with your personal tax information and enters your data properly in the tax forms that you file. Forms mode is an option that you can use to update a couple of lines of information that is not handled well in Easy Step. My main problem is with Intuit's architecture of TurboTax for MacOS that causes Intuit to require that you update the release of MacOS you are using every year because the implementation of the form and Easy Step drivers is tied too closely with new features in the MacOS releases. In the ideal state, the TurboTax application would be written so that the internal drivers for the forms and Easy Step prompt and fill mechanisms would be completely independent of the new features of the MacOS releases. I still run Microsoft Office applications Word and Excel versions from 2011 on an old Mac Mini from 2010 under MacOS 10.13.6 very successfully. This shows that applications can be written with durability that lasts for a decade of upgrades.
