Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good program but has electronic kinks I worked diligently to work through the input of my data. There were very good guidelines and questions to answer. If I could have filed then, the entire process would have been straight forward and easy. The problems came during the transitions at the bottom of the completed section. Many times I was left stranded and had to turn to the online chat to question why. Their answers were often incomplete or totally off the topic. After frequent exits and reentries to the program, I got a little farther with the phoned chats. The wait to get together for one of these chats took over forty minutes. I was on the phone for about an hour with a delightful specialist (initial P) who also could not get the program to work until she talked with a supervisor and we eventually changed my electronic device from the laptop to the phone. Although inconvenient to read on a phone, we eventually got to the review of the state document and we closed our session. However I ran into similar problem of not being able to pay for the state application or transmit the documents because the program simply stopped working. I waited another 40 minutes for a live phone specialist ( initial K) who also had to take about twenty minutes to find his supervisor. Nothing worked until I switched browser from Google to Google Chrome. Its all signed, paid for and delivered now but it certainly was an arduous ordeal. It is my opinion that the #1 rated electronic tax filing app would have enough technical intelligence backup to iron out these aggravating time wasters. I would be careful to recommend this program only to the basic uncomplicated tax payer until those kinks are smoothed out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I wouldn't recomment the premier Turbo Tax I couldn't ever get connected with a person via the phone except for one time. Every time Turbo Tax would call me for a scheduled appointment the phone never rang even though I could receive calls with the phone ringing from other people. I kept getting messages that Turbo Tax couldn't get hold of me.
