Rated 2 out of 5 by from Finding ways to take more money Each year Turbo Tax comes out with something bigger and better...with extra cost. Great deal on the package of saying half off. But, in reality, we are paying more for less. To get any kind of help, even for a question, we must order the extra $105 package and a processing fee if you want the funds to be removed from the return, mine was $39. So, you need to be on your toes to ensure you have that "great" deal or you will be taken advantage of. Turbo Tax is just an over priced "do it yourself" program. Essentially, this years programs are the same as last year, but set up to look better. Someone could probably get a better deal walking into a tax office. Don't waste your money, like I did.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax has not impressed me this year How can Turbo Tax review the documents and approve to file them without the Identity Protection Pin. All of my tax returns were rejected. After refiling, it would walk me through the same steps for approval as last time. Waste of time. While switch from filing jointly to separately my taxes went down and without any entries it jumped up dramatically. switching back and fourth and couldn't get back to where I was on my refund amount. Some of the times the help would lead to nothing even if there was a link to say it would help you. I typed in some of my forms on the search and it would not take me to fill them out. Not impressed with these issues. I believe that I am overpaying by a few thousand dollars this year. I have been using Turbo Tax for about 20 years. I think this will be my last year using them.
