Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax can be seamless Turbo Tax has worked worked out a method of keeping the return process simple and seamless. The service anticipates the questions you may have and I appreciate how streamlined it all is. However, there are some hiccups I experienced. Once I got to the end of my return (after having put it off for about a month), it said I owed for State/Federal, totaling about $120. I couldn't figure out why I owed since I had a simple return. I was able to look up their FAQ and it recommended clearing my info and starting over. That did the trick and I ended up filing a completely free return, but it was still a little annoying. With my Partner's return, this did not do the trick. At the end of his return it was saying he owed over $200 to file federal/state, despite also filing a simple return, and we ended up having to switch to a different tax service, where Federal was free, and State was $20.
