Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hurray capitalism TurboTax was great. I'm really glad their lobbying ensured they would yet again get some of my hard earned money instead of having the government auto file for me like other developed countries.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product, but features new quirks every year I've been using the product since it was sold loaded on floppy disks, so obviously I like it. However, it seems every year it has new quirks or non-intuitive features. The one that really got me several times this year is when you try to make an entry in a field, and nothing happens. The numbers don't go in, right click doesn't respond. The first time I found this I worked around by going into forms mode, locating the form, and the given field, and making the entry there. Eventually I found that these non-responsive boxes have a table behind them, and the number is the result of a table. I got annoyed several times as a result. How about if, in this situation, you display either an error message, or display the existing table that the user can then edit. Thanks!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Charged for unused services I've been using TurboTax for a few years now, but this year when I used it I was automatically changed to the live service. This wouldn't be a problem, but I never used the live service, and it was well over $100 more than the other service. I most likely won't be using/ recommending TurboTax if I can't get this resolved, but that's just the experience I had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great while i dislike tax day, Turbo Tax made filing very easy. I did have a problem, but online assistance resolved this quickly so I was able to file on the ddue date.
