Rated 4 out of 5 by from Allmost perfect. I've used Turbo Tax since 1999 successfully but this year, several features have changed or bypassed my attention that I don't like. I was not asked about my estimated income for 2023 so that estimated tax could be calculated according to my preference for how that is calculated. I must print and mail my federal return but could file my NC return. I wasn't given the option to do that-just mail both or file both.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax is great for basic taxes but overpriced. I have used TurbTax for the past 8 years and it tracks well. I did get audited last year though and now I owe the Fed a lot of extra money. Some of the questions TurboTax asks aren't clear and that's where I messed up. My only complaint about TurboTax is they are charging way too much. They are charging as much as an in-person tax preparer for something I'm doing myself online. Their "Live" tax experts don't even look at your return unless you ask, their algorithm checks your returns so to say your returns are live checked is sort of misleading.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is easy to use! My experience with Turbo Tax was good, but two things would have made it better. First, tell customers up front to use Chrome (or at least not Firefox). When I was on Firefox, after I paid, I wanted to review my forms, but the documents would not load after repeated attempts over two days. On Chrome, they loaded immediately. I wish I'd known. Also, I wish I'd known up front that the price had doubled since last year. That was a shock.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good program, but needs fundamental fixes Pasting in a password into an account to download 1099R is disabled. Pasting my tough password is needed to enhance password security. Not allowing that puts my password at risk. Accessibility functionality is non-existent. No ability to zoom the text or enlarge ALL of the data/text on the screen from within the app. This is a gross oversight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent TurboTax I was anxious and hesitant before seeking TurboTax full service premium, because I've heard and read about it for years but felt uncertain about how it would turn out. To my surprise, this is one of the best tax service experience I've ever had. Maria, the tax expert, was professional, knowledgeable, and patient, she effortlessly helped me navigate through my tax filing matters, I couldn't be happier. Next year I'll have TurboTax file my tax again. Many thanks to TurboTax and Maria.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Marginal This is the second year in a row I am unable to file electronically due to an AGI Error. I enter the correct AGI and it still will not let me file electronically. This is a significant problem. If I can not file Federal electronically I also can not file State electronically. Trying to get a refund of fees from Turbo Tax is next to impossible.
