Many data entry screens did not come up. Turbo Tax just displayed a blank screen. The Guide me feature did not take you from topic to topic. I don't think I'll be purchasing this software again next year. Note: Turbo Tax issues a fix on March 8th that fixed the problem, but when they updated the state program later that month, it broke again. Very disappointing.

If you have a simple tax return, you can file for free with TurboTax Free Edition or TurboTax Live Assisted Basic. You can also file with TurboTax Live Full Service Basic at the listed price.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
