Rated 1 out of 5 by from alabama return was incorrect/misleading Until year 2021 the turbotax transferred not taxable by state pensions costiing me over $10000 dollars between 2004 and 2020. They offer no recourses to recover. Cannot amend back over 3 years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Excessive Pushing to Upgrade and Expensive The sheer amount of times I was asked to upgrade to the ever escallating priemium tiers was frustrating, beyond frustrating, and eventually I was forced to upgrade the second highest tier so that a single 1099 could be filed out of state. That brought the total to over $300... Basically for one document... Then it continued to ask me to upgrade again. I absolutely will not be using Turbo Tax again next year. The upgrades are similar to dealing with a digital pop-up used car salesman and it has just gotten more expensive than its worth. I don't have complicated taxes at all and the fact that filing out of state came up and left me with the option of buy their over-priced package with a bunch of things I will never use, are go someplace else and start over is really frustrating considering how Turbo Tax has been in the past. Should have gone someplace else, will not be coming back next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is easy and the way to file I've been using Turbo Tax for around 30 years or more and I've never been audited or had problems and it's become easier every year as they have upgraded to program and even get's all the 1099 and 1095 forms to fill in the numbers

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GETS BETTER EVERY YEAR I have used TT for many years and it gets easier every year because I adjust the way I keep track of things so that they are easier to provide when I complete the forms. I like the way I am advised of new taxes and those changes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Erros in Return During Print Forms for Filing My original rating was POOR but apparently Intuit is afraid of the truth and it kept telling me my nickname was already in use so I changed to Average and here it is but the actual rating is poor!!! I went through all of TurboTax then got to the end and wanted to review a copy of return before filing. When I clicked "All Forms Required for Filing" it gave error message (Your return has errors. Continue?" WITHOUT giving me a clue as to what the errors could be. When I clicked "All'' Forms" I did not get the error message. I found one thing - if you leave Tier 1 distribution blank and have a number in Tier2, you get the error. Once I fixed that I thought but I was home free. Made some minor changes and got same error at same place again. Somehow in one of the checks it began asking for signature date and phone number (though I'd already entered those). Put those in and error message went away. I immediately filed as I had had ENOUGH GRIEF for one day! Also, the program tells me it will walk me through other forms needed to file Virginia Trust online but there are no instructions. Also says it will print out other forms I needed for Virginia at the very end but no forms are shown. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER OR THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME I USE TURBOTAX. I am not a novice! I've been in the information technology business since 1968!
