Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hidden fees are unethical I made an extremely small amount of money from stocks, and Turbotax allowed me to file my entire return before informing me at the very end that I needed to upgrade to file in entirety. They quotes $120 for the upgrade, and then after taking my credit card information, charged me over $250 by including additional fees for each state. I am frustrated and discouraged by the lack of transparency and "gotcha" nature of the hiddens costs.

That could be because our tax laws are getting too complicated for the normal Joe or Jane to file on their own. Could someone change that please?
