Now that I am retired my income is more fixed than in the past so filing with TT saves me time and money. Easy to use for the most part, and the community was helpful with a few places I need to check some facts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wouldn't allow me to upgrade to Premium Bought TurboTax Deluxe and in the middle of filing out my forms, it suggested I update to the Premium version as I had stocks and 1099-B. Paid for the upgrade and then it wouldnt let me update and my TT continued to say Deluxe. Guess I just wasted $25. Not cool! Would like to know if I can get it refunded as it was never installed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Filing Taxes Made WEasy With all the prompts and questions, filling out the proper forms are almost fool proof. Only issue is that some downloads of financial statements are not possible. Most likely the sender not TT.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbotax for Mac is easy, but has some problems I love the ability to switch between EasyStep and Forms and to chose what you want to work on within EasyStep. For the first time, I had to amend both federal and state taxes a year later, and I found Turbotax a bit quirky for that purpose. For example, it wouldn't let me eFile the amended returns even though it is less than a year since the original filings were done. In addition, it kept telling me to mail the returns, but for the state forms it would only give me eFiling instructions and no mailing address! Finally, I would add that the 2022 TurboTax for Mac did not make it clear how to enter cryptocurrency sales; I had to google it to find out!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from failed to file my return It wasn't as easy as in past years. It was harder to navigate but what brought the low review was that they failed to file my returns and I had to go back in a month later to to this. I was not happy about that.
