Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the cost, find other options I ended up paying more in fees with TurboTax than what I received as a tax return under their "max return guarantee" Ive spent almost 2 hours of my time filling this out on my own, taking the risk to file improperly. While the cost of having a professional CPA/accountant complete it entirely is only a few dollars more with no time expenditure on my part. I won't be using TurboTax again next year and I recommend others to search for more cost effective or efficient ways to file.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Step by Step Guidance Failed This is the third year in a row that Step by Step Guidance has failed to work in the deductions section. This has forced me to open the forms mode and enter information manually and directly into the deductions form worksheets. When I select the Step by Step deduction it immediately goes to a blank screen and refuses any input except going back to the initial deduction screen where you the option for step by step or self guided topics. I have reported this previously to Turbo Tax and spoke to a customer service rep but got no real help. This year I did not waste my time calling TurboTax.
