Having to re-enter the same data over and over is annoying, and the product does not provide much support for stock sales. It also gets confused if you have to go back and change certain things.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I didn't care for the changes from last year As always, Turbo tax makes doing your taxes much less painful than doing them on my own. I LOVE the ability to click on areas to "deep dive" to better understand what the IRS is looking for. The explanations are simple to understand and bring clarity. There were several changes that I didn't care for from last year to this year. Some of the questions were a bit confusing when I didn't experience that last year. Lastly, the previous version showed your +/- taxes owed/returned on the top banner the whole way and this one only showed glimpses of it. I like to see it as I go so I can see how each section affects my taxes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is Quick and Painless. I have a simple return. Turbo Tax is quick, painless and simple to file. I do not have to hunt down or print a form. The software can be used on my phone. All I needed was my W-2. It went fast.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Federal is great but state needs a few fixes Biggest glitch is that there are not enough spaces in the state return for a trust with a long name. TT treats this as an "error" and will not allow e-filing even though it says I am required to e-file. There are other small issues with state returns as well that leave the impression overall that the software is not tested as thoroughly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax has strayed the path When filing for multiple states we encountered an issue where your system was saying i owed 800+ to a state i lived in for one month, with no custimer service support that isnt behind a paywall it took us over an hopur to get the number to reflect correctly. this was not a user error as we did not change any of the information we provided, your system was unable to do its job
