I can get my federal and state taxes done in about 4 hours, although my taxes are complicated by a lot of income sources and deductions. Example of a glitch: The program gives me the screen for downloading investment income before it shows me which accounts it has already downloaded based on prior year income sources. That results in duplicate listings in my income summaries, which I have to go back and trash.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not difference than manual tax return TurboTax asks for a lot of personal information which is not required in the tax return. A potential security concern. It basically walks you through the forms. No noticeable difference than manually filing those forms by yourselves, because you have to read the instructions of the forms anyway in TurboTax.
