Rated 2 out of 5 by from I declined premium services but was still charged I specifically opted out of premium services but was still charged $44. When I saw that on the final review page, I went back and opted out again, but yet it still remained. I also opted out of the Experian identity part so I'm not getting any value from this $44 and don't want it, but as far as I can tell there was no way to not pay for it. Dark design pattern.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Convenient but opaque It's an easy choice for making a tedious process a little less tedious. But they took away forms view, so it's harder to ensure that everything that's submitted to the IRS is correct. E.g. I noticed an error on final review of the 1040, and it took 45 minutes on the phone to figure out how to get back to that specific question. Resolved in the end... but it should have been so much easier.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failure in final moments of filing The TurboTax website wouldn't send me an email to verify my identity in my final moments of filing. The only way I could file was to go into a new browser and verify via text. This was AFTER I'd already paid for TurboTax to file my taxes. I'll be using a different company next year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I miss the CD version I don't like paying more for less help. The online version is not as good as the cd version or even the downloadable version. I feel like I'm getting ripped off and not getting the help I need.
