Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing experience! I always felt like taxes were something extremely complicated. With Turbotax it's not. Really glad that I finally used this service, and didn't pay ridiculous $400 fee to somebody else to do it for me.

When I opened the email that stated that TurboTax would get him a gift card and I would receive a 20% discount for using turbo tax online, I followed the link in the email, but the link sent me to a page that said that I was trying to refer myself somehow. I would sign in but then there would be no mention of me getting a discount would appear on screen. I called an agent and after some time she confirmed that the gift card should be sent and that a new service code would be provided to me. I tried the code today, but surprisingly the price did not change for using Turbo Tax Deluxe online. I chose to process the payment in hopes that the discount would appear on the receipt, but I saw I was charged full price. I had to call another agent and submit a request. Turbo Tax is quick and easy to follow, but the discounts they offer do not work properly, which really make for a frustrating user experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way better than paper forms There are a couple of hiccups in this process: Once you identify your state of residence as a state with no income tax, you are asked a couple more times to do your state return. The process for entering a 1099R for military retired pay is vague/unclear. Otherwise, filing with Turbo Tax is easy, quick and confidence inspiring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Puts the Mind at Ease I am someone who struggles with lots of anxiety and just a plethora of irrational fears. Taxes were one of them ! But Turbo Tax never fails to make filing SO EASY. I’ll always use them.
