Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple to follow Overall, the program is pretty simple to follow. My only complaint is that when you are ready to file your taxes, I suddenly automatically got an additional $44 premium service that I don't want and didn't ask for and can not remove from my total.

Gave TurboTax (which I'd used 20-some years ago) a try, and was was satisfied with ease of use. Comparing return to last year's, it appears I got the same result at one-third of the previous cost.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from HELP ME SAVE TIME WITH STANDARD DEDUCTION CHOICE At one point, right after/soon after Income section was completed, Turbo Tax said something about $10,000 & Standard deduction was the best bet. It then stated that perhaps you could save a little on the state return if you entered all this other stuff--charitable giving, medical expenses, etc. HOWEVER, TurboTax doesn't give you a choice to skip all that stuff. MAJOR DISSAPOINTMENT. It only says: CONTINUE. This is a major flaw which could be easily fixed by TurboTax. So, I spent several hours doing the paperwork to enter the information. Please. "Choose Standard Deduction" is a major fork in the road. But you make us take a crummy detour. Some (at least one, maybe more, perhaps all) spend money on TurboTax because we are not hackers. Help! Make it right. We won't be sorry we purchased the product if it takes less time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Year After Year Year after year I have come back to Turbotax, for at least the last 13 years. I really don't enjoy doing my taxes, but Turbotax makes it so simple. I wouldn't do it any other way!
