Rated 1 out of 5 by from CD version is cumbersome and confusing This was our first year using the CD version and found it to be cumbersome and outdated. I was never really quite sure if the program had me go through all the sections and never really quite sure if all the deductions were given. There were times where the program didn't function correctly (specifically the state section on reporting HSA contributions) and wouldn't let me enter the numbers. Thankfully, I was able to pull up the form (while in the program) and adjust it "manually" that way. When I finally hit "transmit", it wasn't able to successfully e-file; there was an error stating that the program was outdated and needed an update! What?!?... I'm not very tech savvy but thankfully I was to check for updates within the program, the program updated successfully, and it appears there weren't any errors since I was able to re-submit the e-file. Hopefully, none of the files are corrupted from the updates and we get our refund. Why not just tell me that the CD program needs an update when I started working on the refund vs at the end when I'm trying to e-file? That caused some unnecessary anxiety.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's convenient Great app, easy to navigate. A little confusing on the product offerings though. But once you figure it out its easy. Would also like Turbotax to be upfront about the fact they charge for the convenience of using refund to pay Turbotax fees.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is SO easy to use! Turbo Tax is seriously so easy to use! I feel confident that I am getting the best tax return possible. If I have any questions as I go step-by-step on Turbo Tax, all the answers are right there! It's like they anticipate my questions. I also LOVE being able to know exactly WHY I am receiving the amount for my return! Everything is explained so simply and to the point!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax is easy! I don't have time to fiddle with taxes, so I paid an accountant $480!!! And all he did was plug in the numbers I supplied him. I switched to TurboTax a couple of years ago and love it. Its fast, easy and this year I had a question....live chat was right there and sent me the link! Awesome. Took me less than 3 hours. Thanks TurboTax for another easy tax year.
