Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too expensive Im already paying to file my taxes with this software. If i have to pay for both state and federal i should NOT be charged for having my fees come out of my return. Thats insane. I used this software for conveniece but im going to an actual cpa next year.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Downloading was confusing Download was confusing with website login, downloaded file, and Amazon file all available. The format was totally different from the disk version I was familiar with.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful - but missing needed features Relatively easy to use. Missing needed fields for dealing with municipal bonds including bond premium, discount and accrued interest. This is a big omission for many Trust returns.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2022 Return Taxes are stressful for me, and I find all the adds to upgrade or other services is confusing for me. I am not sure if this is an action, I need to do for the taxes of just a way for you to add services that I may not need. Maybe you could just add a link to the top of the page that provide the add information there. Since you sent out e:mails throughtout the year, Why make them more effective by provide more tax information (ie. small sections to how to use the site, tax topics -RMD, Tax breaks, incomes ect.) also explain the adds and other services you offer and how to access them once the customer has logged on to the site.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pay for xtra services is scam, great base product I always did just the basic sign up and tools never paid extra for any other additions but this tax season I decided to and it wasn't worth it at all. I paid $247 for the same process I would have just paying the $59 standard. Very upset I spent the extra money for no real benefit, Seems like I paid extra for security which doesn't feel worth it at all. Great base service tho, as long as you don't spend extra, this is worth it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Eh... I've used TurboTax for several years, but this year I was frustrated. I paid extra for a higher level of service that was supposed to allow me to chat with a "live tax expert" and yet when I clicked it, they wanted me to go up yet another step. Overall, I paid $189 to spend over 4 hours doing my taxes myself. Last year I had them done (for the first time in 10 years) for $310. I'm now more than willing to pay the extra $120 to get 4 hours of my life back, especially when I'm still not 100% sure they were done correctly since they wouldn't allow me to "chat with an expert."
