Rated 5 out of 5 by from Software is great - should be free for low income Turbo Tax (TT) software has always been great- it's thorough and easy to use. However, I do feel the free software should cover all tax forms, credits/ deductions and schedules that apply to low-income users, such as the PTC (Premium Tax Credit), which is for Healthcare Marketplace insurance premium payments, which requires taxpayer to use Form 1095-A, to complete and reconcile payments onto tax return Form 8962, and Schedule 3, which are currently are not covered situations under the Turbo Tax free software. I commend TT, however, in that some other low-income situations are covered, such as EITC (Earned Income Tax Credit) and CTC (Child Tax Credit). I have more good things than bad to say about TT, and overall I'm very pleased with it. The only other negative feedback I could provide is: *Takes too long to load from one screen, question, section to next, or to analyze or upload forms. *Sometimes when I just want to make a quick edit to one area of my return, I am pushed through the entire section (For example: Wages and Income, or Credit and Deductions), again, which I've already gone through once, twice or three times at that point and don't care to answer the questions again. In that sense, it's a little too thorough, and adds to the time it takes to complete return, especially for having to wait for each area and question to load. *Sometimes I have a situation in which I qualify or am eligible for a certain credit/ deduction but do not wish to take it for whatever reason (Often it is because it involves a qualified dependent and the credit/ deduction will be taken by the other parent), and once TT qualifies that I am eligible, will add the credit/ deduction to return and force me to accept it. There has been no good workaround for this in a few situations in past. This year I had to fudge the CTC advance payments to say that I already received the full 3000 payment in order to not accept the credit, as otherwise, it was added to my return and I could not remove. The other parent took the credit so I could not, and had to state on my return I received it (As advance monthly CTC payments during year), and I don't like having to essentially "lie" on my return. And several years ago (2015 I believe) TT forced me to accept the EITC, and I ended up having a hard time getting around that- I either had to change filling status or change software programs to **** competitor, I forget which.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mch smoother this year Everything was much smoother this year. I am running on fully updated Windows 10. I made lots of corrections this year and the software response is first class. I've used Turbo tax for almost 20 years. Not much improvement is needed. Avoiding frustration and program reliability are most important to me. Great program Intuit !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm faithful to TurboTax, but... ...I wish the K-1 support were better and the navigation didn't require so many clicks. Still, I appreciate that it transfers my history from year to year and is there to walk me through unfamiliar matters when I need that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo tax is too expensive and decpetive. Turbotax was far too expensive. It also wouldn't let me cancel my package after clicking that I wanted it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Unfortunate Sudden increase in filing cost. Misleading sales and adverts. Unfortunate coming from a multiple year filer. This will be last time filed with turbotax.
