Rated 5 out of 5 by from ITS EASIER AND BETTER EVERY YEAR. I HAVE BEEN USING TURBO TAX FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS AND ALTHOUGH I HAVEN'T ENJOYED THE EXPERIENCE IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THOROUGH AND KINOW THAT WHAT I SEND TO THE IRS IS ACCURATE.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Issues with IP PIN and then completing the return This year was a very bad experience. First, my return from last year was not loaded and there was no option to load it. I used TurboTax last year. I know I use the online version in 2021, but it didn't load. The program found some information from last year automatically, but then failed to show the full return. There were no prompts to upload from a pdf. Second, the IP PIN process was poorly handled. I was never prompted to add my IP PIN, so I submitted without entering it. Rejected. Then the program said the IP PIN doesn't change year to year, so I found my old return and entered my #. Rejected. Then I googled the issue and was directed to log onto the irs.gov website and retrieve the IP PIN. Both my PIN and my wife's PIN had changed. Re-submitted. Rejected. Turns out, my dependent has an IP PIN too. Entered this. Awaiting next response from the IRS. Infuriating that this section was missed. Third issue, getting to the IP PIN entry spot was very very difficult. After clicking on the link in the rejection email, I'm NOT taken to the place to enter the IP PIN. Searching on IP PIN does not take you to the entry point. You need to click on your return and only then can you search on IP PIN to find a "jump to" link. Fourth, after spending a lot of time trying to resolve the IP PIN issue, I'm forced to repeat many of the final steps before submitting. Huge waste of time
