Rated 2 out of 5 by from ok I don't like how some entries in quickbooks are then duplicated in turbotax. Example. Prior to forming BidBird, Inc. I had startup costs. I put these in the ledger. Then TurboTax asks for this info and I enter it again. It double counts the entries and inflates my gross income. So, I had to remove them from TurboTax. Stupid. Now the ledger is incorrect, but the tax submittal is correct. dumb. My other quickbooks company file did the same thing with income. Some income is reported with a 1099. If a 1099 is used by a payer then I have to remove the entries from the ledger. Stupid. Why are you doubling the amounts? The smart thing to do would be "have you accounted for 1099 income in your ledger?" Why, yes I have. "Ok, which entry was used?" Then I can review that entry, select it and it's not double counted. First time I've used this product, how can you not have fixed this in 2022?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Experience The state tax program for Louisiana would not accept my date of retirement so it would not correctly fill out the Schedule E. this resulted in an over $1700 OVERAGE in tax owed. An online chat resulted in the agent stating that they could not find any information regarding exempted income for this state and that I should have the tax expert help...which isn't free. I paid $59 for this aggravation and now will have to file by mail. Finding out how to only file my Federal form could only be found by Googling it....the website is awful. I just hope my State didn't go thru and I do not have do an amended.
