Rated 3 out of 5 by from Computer was awful, phone works. Doing the taxes on the computer was a joke. The software is buggy and wouldn't let me remove prior year k1 data. Had to switch to my phone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like the CD version better I would have much preferred to use the CD version so I could go back and forth to the actual forms. However, I could not use TurboTax for Mac without upgrading to a higher OS. It really stinks that every few years you make me upgrade my system in order to continue using TurboTax. I almost switched to H&R Block but I figured I'd try the online version of TurboTax. I hated it by comparison to the CD. Next year I may switch to H&R Block if you don't stop requiring upgraded systems.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbotax sucks Annoying software. Checking for errors and says no errors, but my refund keeps being rejected because not all needed questions are answered. Wasted hours of my time going over everything 4 times.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from More and more bugs every year So I answer all the questions and the software claims I have an error that I need to review. It states the days of my rental property cannot be blank. I don't have a rental property any more. So I input 0. When I resubmit, I get a new error stating that the days enter must be 15 or more, otherwise I should not file that particular form. I never entered that I have rental property this year. I get stuck in a loop, and the system won't let me move on, and support is closed. I finally searched around, and found where the system imported old information in a menu that I didn't even enter as it didn't apply to me. Once I deleted the information, I was able to move on. Had I not stumbled onto this, I would have had to wait on hold during normal business hours (the week of tax filing!!!!) This company makes huge amount of money off of something the government should provide free to tax payers, and the quality of the programming with all the bugs is ridiculous. The only reason I keep coming back is I don't want to have to transfer last year's data.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A headache this year Not much has changed but this year I had a .02 item that took over 30min to input/workaround. The whole process took 2.5hrs. I helped my parents and took less than 30min. I've been using turbotax for a total of ~20-25 years and no discounts for loyalty. This time I was forced to pay $119 and not sure why. $79 last year (same job and same stocks).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Convenient but expensive Lots of steps and a bit frustrating at the end, they charge you FIRST and then let you know that they require the AIG to file instead of telling you up front what you will need to file, if I didn't have that, then I'm not sure what would have happened...and of course all throughout the process they try to upsell you
