Rated 1 out of 5 by from IRS IP Pin empty TurboTax SHOULD prompt to update 43 year user of TurboTax ... now very upset. IRS rejected return because IP PIN was incorrect. Quickly got the new IP PIN took almost two hours to find how to update ... and I have 40 years of programing/technical expertise. TurboTax should be prompting me when the IP PIN is empty ... would I like to enter the IP PIN for me and my wife. Then I could quickly retrieve and updated with the least effort. The TurboTax help was USELESS. Had to ask the TurboTax Community for the proper way to update the TurboTax download.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Non-intuitive, lacking in clarity and explanaton The program does odd things without explanation. For example, I entered property tax, expense, and other info for renting my home, but the numbers shown in the program were completely different, without explanation. Further, when I asked the tax "experts", they didn't know what was going on either. In fact, I chatted with support "experts" about 6 times and not a single time did they know the answer to my question, with one exception. The exception was when the support person checked somewhere for about 45 minutes and finally came back and said the strange numbers shown were correct, even though they did not match the methodology used last year. Further, the program constantly asks for information I have provided many times in previous years, information that could not have changed. That is very frustrating and irritating because it should be in the program already.
