Rated 4 out of 5 by Oreo Larry from TT needs improved Colorado state and next year est Colorado exclusion changed in 2022 and forward to allow full taxable exclusion for Social Security income. That was calculated but not very evident. There should be help available in the program to explain that military retirement for those over 65 will not be excluded if total, including SS is $24K or more. Also an improved estimation calculation for next year's federal and state should be easier to accomplish with totals for from 1040 and schedules to be entered without having to enter individual sources.

If you have a simple tax return, you can file for free yourself with TurboTax Free Edition, or you can file with TurboTax Live Assisted Basic or TurboTax Live Full Service Basic at the listed price.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
