Rated 2 out of 5 by from Gave no other option, forced to upgrade and pay I usually love using Turbotax. It lets you choose what plan works best for you. This year it would not let me continue to file unless I upgraded, paying $130 more than I already was. I have never had this happen before, but it would not let continue without clicking upgrade.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from COSTLY When I first started using turbotax it cost significantly more than it does now. I wont be using it anymore. Also, turbotax consistently asks to upgrade to a more expensive version of the software. I thought I had declined the deluxe edition but at the end when I put my card in to pay, it charged me for the deluxe version. SO, now I have to contact somebody to have it credited back to my account because I did not want to do the deluxe version. The main reason I didnt want to do a different software was because turbotax had my history already in its system. I knew it was going to cost more than competitors but did not realize how much.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Usually great but not this year Was just about to file and the software somehow duplicated all of my 1099s. Also the software showed errors that weren't errors so I had to fool it by entering spaces in boxes.
