Rated 1 out of 5 by unknown and disgusted from mr Worst experience ever. Program is difficult and IRS rejected electronic filing for unknown reasons. Calls to Turbotax for help did not result in help. NY also rejected electronic filing (because federals rejected). Since NY requires e-filing, this made for more difficulties. I have been using Turbotax for over 10 years. Next year I will be looking for a different vendor.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
